Logitech’s AI cameras are meant to replace big, bulky office equipment.

Logitech is marketing its new Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro as smaller, less intrusive options to big conference room video systems.
Instead of regular video bars, the gadgets use tiny camera units with one-inch imaging sensors and automated functions to help with both video quality and room management.
They also work as room sensors, using imagery along with AI-based tracking and analytics.
That strategy puts Logitech in direct rivalry with well-known all-in-one video bars and modular conferencing systems. It also moves AI that is usually included into those systems into a separate camera format.
AI-powered tracking is already popular, but Logitech is focusing on the price and how easy it is to deploy. Most dual-camera setups for big rooms that are good enough for businesses cost more than $5,000 to $10,000.
The Rally AI Camera costs $2,499, while the Rally AI Camera Pro costs $2,999.
Henry Levak, VP of product at Logitech for Business, said, “Rally AI Cameras are made to power the hybrid-first office, where the tech fades into the background to let the digital and physical worlds blend.”
“They provide a movie-like experience for people in meetings, from small walls to town halls, while quietly solving the problems that IT managers, facilities teams, and workplace experience professionals deal with every day.”
AI Video Improves Meeting Views Logitech blends elements from its current Rally systems with AI-based video capabilities that are usually only found in bigger devices. Logitech says that tiny multi-camera views capture every angle in boardrooms, classrooms, and town halls. They can function together with programs like Microsoft Teams and Zoom Intelligent Director.

The setup is meant to make meeting views more dynamic by coordinating many cameras. Each camera has a custom-designed lens with a one-inch imaging sensor and a 115° field of view, which lets them cover a vast area of the room and get close-ups of people, even in low light.
You can put the cameras on the ceiling, the TV, a wall, or even inside a wall. A shutter that opens and closes on its own shows when the camera is off.
Nathan Coutinho, who is in charge of strategy for Logitech for Business around the world, says that the in-wall installation and elegant design point to a drive toward technology that is less visible. In the past, electronics in conference rooms didn’t fit in with the space. It took up space. But workplaces, especially executive spaces, boardrooms, and areas where customers interact with employees, are putting more and more importance on clear sightlines, less visual noise, and flexibility in spaces that may be used for more than one thing.
The Rally AI camera can be recessed into walls, which makes it easier to design a conference room that doesn’t take up too much space. The Rally AI camera can be recessed into walls, which makes it easier to design conference rooms with a lower profile.Hey
“Ultimately, this isn’t just about looks, though that’s a significant bonus for architects and office designers. It’s also about getting rid of distractions. A camera sticking out can be a big distraction and make you less productive. He told TechNewsWorld, “In that sense, moving toward technology that is almost invisible makes sense for the industry, and we do expect that trend to continue.”
Coutinho said that a plug-and-play camera that costs less than $3,000 makes it easier for people to join professional video meetings. This change makes it possible for businesses of all sizes and levels of technical skill to set up more advanced video systems without having to hire expensive staff or pay for expensive installations.
“One goal of the Rally AI Cameras is to make advanced but easy-to-use video features available to more organizations,” he said.
AI framing cuts down on the need for PTZ
Both cameras use RightSight 2 AI framing to change the view based on who is in the room. It can frame the group, the individual speaker, or arrange the participants in a grid in real time.
They can be mounted in a variety of ways, such as on the wall or in the wall, so they can fit in with many different room styles.
This is a close-up of the front of the Rally AI camera. The Rally AI camera uses AI-based framing and high-resolution imaging to cut down on the need for mechanical pan-tilt-zoom movement.
The camera automatically focuses and frames people in the room with a one-inch imaging sensor and RightSight 2 AI. It can fit into a variety of room layouts, and you may place the camera on the wall or hide it in the wall for a more discreet look.
In the past, large mechanical PTZ systems showed their capabilities by sweeping pans, making noise with motors, and showing off their technology. Coutinho said that Logitech’s one-inch sensors and hybrid AI-driven zoom may be reaching a tipping point.
“When you have a lot of pixels and smart reframing, you don’t need as much dramatic mechanical action. In today’s conference rooms, the best standard isn’t movement that can be seen. “That’s invisible intelligence,” he remarked.
Room data changes how ROI is calculated
Coutinho agreed that this data-driven method affects how the ROI is calculated for office footprints. The way companies look at how well their office space is used may change with room usage statistics.
They keep track of when, how many, and how often users use rooms and send that information to Logitech Sync. He said that the method gives managers the information they need to develop spaces better.
One of the largest costs for businesses when it comes to real estate is the “ghost meeting,” when rooms are rented but no one shows up. Rally AI Cameras can tell if people are really there, and if they’re not, they will instantly free up the place for other people to utilize.
He said, “In a way, this gives you more square footage to work with without having to rent more space.” “You aren’t just getting a camera for your business conference. You are buying a way to see how your areas are really being used.
The Rally AI Camera Pro is a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera with smart features and excellent optics that works well in big, complicated settings. With its innovative dual-camera technology and 15x hybrid zoom, it gives you video that is crystal clear.
RightSight 2 technology, which is based on AI, focuses and frames people in conference rooms as if they were right next to them. It’s easy to use intelligent video and pro audio together because they can be easily added to conference audio systems. Occupancy insights may also help automate the workplace.
Integrated Hardware and Software Approach: Coutinho said that Logitech’s Rally AI Cameras mix hardware, software, and analytics into one platform. The platform has AI-powered features that are updated through CollabOS, as well as occupancy analytics and ambient monitoring from Logitech Spot.
“Our ability to easily work with popular platform-specific features is another thing that sets our products apart. “Rally AI Cameras work with Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms, which lets you frame people naturally and fairly from different angles in setups with more than one camera,” he said.
